Woodstock Migrates to ICEfaces

The NetBeans team is happy to announce a relationship between the NetBeans and ICEfaces communities to facilitate migration for current Woodstock users. With the latest ICEface NetBeans plugin (v1.7.2SP1), you can add the ICEfaces framework to an existing project and begin to develop ICEface pages along side existing Woodstock pages.

Patch1 for NB 6.5 Now Available

A new patch for the NetBeans IDE 6.5 is now available on the Update Center. The patch includes fixes in modules for Auto Update Services, Ant, BlueJ Project Support, C/C++, Database, GUI Builder, GlassFish v3 Prelude, GlassFish v3 Prelude - JRuby, IDE Platform, Java, Java EE, Web Applications, Java Profiler, NetBeans 6.5, PHP, Platform, RESTful Web Services, Ruby and Rails, SaaS Services Support and UML.

The update is easy to install when the NetBeans IDE 6.5 is running. Just click on the globe in the status bar or go to Tools -> Plugins -> Updates tab, then follow the installation instructions. Since the module Auto Update Services have to be installed the first and solo by definition, the mentioned steps have to be applied twice.
